Making Sense was a European Commission funded project that ran for two years between 2015 to 2017.

It aimed to explore how open source software, open source hardware, digital maker practice and open design could be used by urban communities to create their own sensing tools, make sense of their environments and address issues around air and noise pollution.

Saskia Coulson of CT Productions was an integral part of the research team on this project. In this role she used visual storytelling to help capture and communicate the journey of the participating citizens.
